How about "skull and crossed bones"? "X marks the spot". And "rum" and "Shiver me timbers!".

A pollywog is a new inexperienced sailor and a shellback is a well seasoned and experienced sailor. There is usually some sort of initiation ceremony (crossing equator or such) to acknowledge and celebrate the change of status.

Wait I rember now!

The "bow" is «нос» and the "stern" is «корма».

Also the word "scurvy" «цинга» is a good word too bease a lot of pirates got it.

I like this list!!!

What about the word "shanghai"

Is "pillage/plunder" = «грабёж»?

What about "All hands on deck!" «Всё руки на палубе!» is this correct?

And the parts of a ship too!

I think "port" is «левый борт» and "starboard" is «правый борт»

I dont know the Russian words for "stern" or "bow"

I dont know if these are correct.

Maybe you be so kind to correct them?

I awfully appreciate it!

How would you say wog and polywog in Russian? Is there a shellback word?
