Мдаа - вижу, что кто-то уже ответил на мой вопрос. Извините, пожалуйста. Понимаю, что "какой" в творительном падеже - "Жизнь была какой."

Почему "какой" бы была моя жизнь? , вместо "какая" бы была моя жизнь? Почему слово "какой" не согласиться со словом "Жизнь"?

Hello Simon,

In this case "какой" is feminine, it is in Instrumental case. Masculine in Instrumental case will be "каким".

Hello Jeanine,

Your question is about conjunctive mood in Russia. The grammar structure is: particle "бы (б)" + past form of verb. If you are talking about future, you shouldn't use "бы (б)" .

If you go there, you’ll see her - Если ты пойдешь туда, ты увидешь её. (The action will be in future).

Если б ты пошел туда, ты бы увидел ее (If you went there you could see her). But it was a chance in past, you didn't go there, therefore, you didn't see her.

Спасибо! I have a question, though... If we are talking about visiting Baikal in the (possible) future, why do we use the past tense of поехать? Or maybe the better question is, if we always use the past tense with бы, how can you tell if someone is talking about something they would have done in the past, or would like to do in the future?

Hello Jeanine,

I also want to visit Baikal one day, it is really a mysterious lake.

"Я бы поехала в Иркутск и я бы поплавала в озере Байкал." - like this is correct.

если бы я мог поехать в россию, я хотел бы посетить мусеи и деревни. Может быть, тоже покупает семи-струной гитаре.
