Всем привет (Vsem privet). Hi, guys! It’s me Katya. Today, our topic is 10 phrases to help you in an emergency so it’s very important topic so stay with me in RussianPod101.com. Let’s check it out!
1. Вызовите, пожалуйста, полицию. (Vyzovite, pozhalusta, politsyyu.) "Call the police, please!"
Вы знаете номер телефона полиции? (Vy znayete nomer telefona politsyi?) “Do you know the telephone number for the police?
Алё, полиция? Приежайте быстрее, здесь маньяк! Быстро! Я вас жду! Да-да-да, даю адрес. (Alyo, politsyya? Priyezhayte bystreye, zdes' man'yak! Bystro! Ya vas zhdu! Da-da-da, dayu adres.) “Hello, police? Please, hurry up! There is a maniac here. Yes, I’m waiting for you. Here is my address.”
2. У вас есть температура? (U vas est' temperatura?) "Do you have a fever?"
Да, у меня боль’шая температура. У меня высокая, у меня высоченная температура, я умираю! (Da, u menya bol’shaya temperatura. U menya vysokaya, u menya vysochennaya temperatura, ya umirayu!) “I have a fever. My fever is so high. Ah, I’m dying, help me!”
3. Я потерял паспорт. (Ya poteryal pasport.) "I lost my passport."
“I don’t know where I lost my passport!” Я не знаю, где я потеряла свой паспорт! (Ya ne znayu, gde ya poteryala svoy pasport!)
“How do I leave Russia now?” Как я уеду из России? (Kak ya uyedu iz Rossii?)
4. Кажется, я съел что-то не то. (Kazhetsa, ya s'el shto-ta ne to.) "I think I ate something bad."
5. Мне нужен врач. (Mne nuzhen vrach.) "I need a doctor."
Actually, we also have the word доктор (doktor) which is the same than in English, “doctor”, but there is not much difference, врач (vrach), доктор (doktor). So if you forgot this word in Russian for some reason, you can always say the English version.
6. Я не могу найти обратную дорогу в отель. (Ya ne magu nayti abratnuyu darogu v atel'.) "I can't find the way back to my hotel."
“Oh no, I don’t have Wi-Fi, I cannot check the way back to my hotel.” Блин, у меня нет вай-фая! Я теперь не могу в отель вернуться. (Blin, u menya net vay-faya! Ya teper' ne mogu v otel' vernutsa.)
7. Поблизости есть аптека? (Pablizasti est' apteka?) "Is there a pharmacy nearby?"
“There is, but it’s already closed.” Да, здесь есть одна, но она уже закрыта. (Da, zdes' yest' odna, no ona uzhe zakryta.)
8. Вы можете мне помочь? (Vy mozhete mne pamoch?) "Can you help me? "
Вы можете поделиться вай-фаем? (Vy mozhete podelitsa vay-fayem?) “Can you share your Wi-Fi with me?”
9. Вызовите Скорую! (Vyzavite Skoruyu!) "Call the ambulance!"
“Right now!” Прямо сейчас! (Pryamo seychas!)
10. У меня украли кошелёк. (U menya ukrali koshelyok.) "My wallet was stolen."
“I need to find the policeman.” Мне нужно найти полицейского. (Mne nuzhno nayti politseyskovo.)
Можно я у тебя возьму денег ненадолго? (Mozhno ya u tebya voz'mu deneg nenadolgo?) “Can I borrow some money from you for some time?”

"I lost my passport." I'm not planning on this, but it's nice to know how to say this. 😄
