Привет всем!(Privet fvem)! Hi, everyone! And it’s me, Katya, and Ten Phrases for Bad Students. Bad phrases for bad students, or good phrases for bad students. Let’s check it out!
The first phrase is…
1. Жульничать на экзамене. (Zhul'nichat' na ekzamene.) “to cheat on a test”
Actually, жулик (zhulik) is a word for someone who’s cheating or stealing something. It’s a bit old fashioned word, but it’s still used жулик (zhulik), so “cheater” or somebody who’s stealing something from other people.
Не жульничайте на экзамене! (Ne zhul'nichayte na ekzamene!) “Don’t cheat on your test!”
2. запугивать (zapugivat') “to bully”
“You're not going bully me.” Ты меня не запугаешь. (Ty menya ne zapugayesh'.)
“If you don't write this report for me by Friday, I am going to tell everyone that you cheated on a test.”
Если ты не напишешь для меня отчет к пятнице, я всем расскажу, что ты списывал, жульничал на уроке.
(Yesli ty ne napishesh' dlya menya atchyot k pyatnitse, ya fsem raskazhu, shto ty spisyval, zhul'nichal na uroke.)
3. ленивый (lenuvyy) “lazy”
So “laziness” is лень (len'). Well, in English, “I am lazy.” but in Russian, it’s, Мне лень. (Mne len')
“My son is so lazy! He doesn't want to go throw away the garbage!”
Мой сын такой ленивый! Даже не хочет пойти вынести мусор!
(Moy syn takoy lenivyy! Dazhe ne khochet payti vynesti musor!)
4. откладывать (atkladyvat') “procrastinate”
“Every evening, I am procrastinating and not doing my homework.”
Каждый вечер я откладываю и не делаю домашнее задание.
(Kazhdyy vecher ya atkladyvayu i ne delayu damashneye zadaniye.)
So bad students, here’s another one for you.
5. пропускать занятия (propuskat' zanyatiya) “to skip classes”
В этом месяце я пропустил уже пять занятий русского языка.
(V etam mesyatse ya prapustil uzhe pyat' zanyatiy russkava yazyka.)
“This month, I skipped five classes of Russian language.”
6. спать в классе (spat' f klasse) “to sleep in class”
“I always want to sleep in class.” Мне всегда хочеться спать в классе. (Mne fsegda khochetsa spat' f klasse.)
7. не делать домашнее задание (ne delat' damashneye zadaniye) “to not do homework”
Моя мама жалуется, что я никогда не делаю домашнее задание.
(Maya mama zhaluyetsa, shto ya nikagda ne delayu damashneye zadaniye.)
“My mom is always complaining (that) I never do my homework.”
8. провалить предмет (pravalit' predmet) “to fail class”
“I've just failed chemistry class.” Я только что провалил химию. (Ya tol'ka shto pravalil khimiyu.)
9. не следовать правилам (ne sledavat' pravilam) “to not follow rules”
Well, I guess rules were made to follow, but not for bad students.
So, Я никогда не следую правилам. (Ya nikagda ne sleduyu pravilam.) “I never follow rules.”
10. есть на уроке (est' na uroke) “eating in a class”
Почему-то мой друг всегда ест на уроке. (Pachemu-ta moy druk fsegda yest na uroke.)
“I don't know why but my friend always eats in class.”
So, it was Ten Phrases for Bad Students, and even though you’re a good one, you can still say it in Russian. So just complain about bad students in Russian. Well, I think I’m gonna go and procrastinate. Talk to you later and don’t forget to subscribe! пока пока (paka-paka)!

Katioucha should present herself as Katia (it would sound more professionnal) and let other people tenderly call her Katioucha!?
