Hello Robert,

Basically, "Чем ты занимаешься?" means "What do you do?", and it can be also used in the meaning "What are you doing?".

Hi,

How does the question "Чем ты занимаешься?" differ from the question "Кто ты по профессии?"?

Hello James Dixon,

Hello M,

If you are asking about "cho" and "chem" - the answer is simple. "cho" we use in Nominative case, and "chem" in Instrumental.

So, in order to use them correctly you need know when each case is used. 😅
