John: This is Must-know Russian Slang Words and Phrases, Season 1, Lesson 16. In this lesson, you'll learn slang verbs.
John: Another portion of the slang verbs with negative meanings. In this lesson, we have both the examples mainly used online and those that people use in real life.
SLANG EXPRESSIONS
John: The expressions you'll be learning in this lesson are...

John: Karina, what's our first expression?
Karina: минусовать (minusavat')
John: This literally means "dislike," but when it's used as a slang expression, it means "dislike (as in, press the ‘dislike’ button)."

John: This literally means "to inflate," but when it's used as a slang expression, it means "to swindle."

John: This literally means "trolling." As a slang expression, it means "to troll, to provoke."

John: Use this expression when someone starts an argument on the Internet by making fun of someone in a cruel way or intentionally provoking people, often for their own amusement. Sometimes, it's also used in real life when someone is teasing or making fun of you.

John: "Don't mind him, he's just trolling you!"

John: Which literally means "to pilfer." As a slang expression, it means "to steal."
