| In the last lesson, we learned the numbers from one to ten. Do you remember them? I’ll remind you: |

| And now let’s continue from eleven. |

| Okay, now repeat after me. I'll say the numbers and give you time to repeat each one. |

| These numbers may seem harder to remember and pronounce than those in the previous lesson, but as you have probably noticed the endings are the same ~ надцать. The suffix дцать is the modified word for ten, десять - дцать. Counting from 15-19, you simply eliminate the letter Ь from the original word and add надцать. In the case of 14, you eliminate the letter E. |
| Let’s not stop at 20 - let’s learn how to count up to one hundred! First I'll give you the tens: |

| Remember I told you that the suffix дцать means “ten”? Well, we have another modification for ten. It is десят. It is almost the same as the original word for 10 - десять. In most cases, you simply add the number in front of it to multiply it by 10. Восемь, 8, plus десят, 10, is Восемьдесят, 80. Easy! |
| The word for hundred is also super easy. It is СТО. I don’t think you will have any problems with this one! |
| The last thing we’ll learn in this lesson is how to form compound numbers above twenty. |
| Just take the tens and simply add the numbers you learned in the previous lesson. |
| Let’s try it out. |
| How would you say “fifty-six” in Russian? Let’s take it step-by-step. "Fifty" is пятьдесят, and then add "six", шесть. |
| Пятьдесят шесть! It’s done! Very easy, right? |
| Let’s make another number, for instance, "twenty-three." |
| Take "twenty" двадцать, and add "three", три: |
| So we get Двадцать три! |
| See! After only two lessons, you are now able to count to one hundred in Russian! |
