Did you notice the phrase the last speaker uses when she points out her sons?
Мой муж, мои сыновья и я. (Moy muzh, moi synov'ya i ya.)
"My husband, my sons, and me."
Let’s start with сыновья (synov'ya). "Sons." Сыновья. Сыновья.
сыновья (synov'ya) which is plural — a fact which will determine the form of other words in the sentence.
Before this is мои (moi), meaning "my." Мои. Мои.
Мои (Moi) is plural to agree with сыновья (synov'ya).
To say "my daughters," мои дочери (moi docheri). Мои дочери.
To refer to a group of children, "my children," мои дети (moi deti). Мои дети.
You should be aware of the plural form, but you won’t need it for this lesson.
