Hi everyone! I’m Katya Sost.
In this lesson, you’ll learn how to talk about your family as a parent.
This is Karen Lee and she's studying with her Russian Teacher, Karolina Kalashnikova.
Karolina notices a picture on Karen’s computer and asks,
"Is this your family?"
Это Ваша семья? (Eto Vasha sem'ya?)
Listen to the conversation, and focus on the response.
Note: Karolina uses formal Russian.

Да. Это моя семья. Мой муж, мой сын, моя дочь и я. (Da. Eto moya sem'ya. Moy muzh, moy syn, moya doch' i ya.)

"Is this your family?"
Да. Это моя семья. Мой муж, мой сын, моя дочь и я. (Da. Eto moya sem'ya. Moy muzh, moy syn, moya doch' i ya.)
"Yes. This is my family. My husband, my son, my daughter, and me."
