Becky: Welcome to 3-Minute Russian Season 1, Lesson 20 - Talking about what you like. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to ask and talk about what you like in Russian.

Becky: Here's the informal way to ask 'Do you like chocolate?' in Russian.
Elena: [Normal] Ты любишь шоколад?(Ty lyubish shekalat?)
Becky: First is a word meaning 'you'
Elena: [Normal] ты [Slow] ты (ty)
Becky: Next is the word meaning 'like'
Elena: [Normal] любишь [Slow] любишь(lyubish)
Becky: Last is the word meaning 'chocolate'
Elena: [Normal] шоколад [Slow] шоколад(shekalat)
Becky: Note the rising intonation. Listen again to the informal question meaning 'Do you like chocolate?'
