are the following sentences true and the same? I didnt understand the use of the verb нравится?

1) ты мне нравишься
2) мне нравится тебе

Hi,
The 2nd sentence is incorrect. But, if you write it in a right way(I guess you meant "Мне нравишься ты"), then the sentences will have the same meaning. However, it's more naturally to say "Ты мне нравишься" or "Ты нравишься мне". And the phrase "Мне нравишься ты" may be used when you want to highlight the word "ты", so you put an accent on it, like "Мне нравишься ТЫ, а не Катя"
