Your Russian boss invited you to his home to meet some people from the company and have a home-cooked Russian meal. You are picking up a Russian colleague along the way, and running just a bit late. You arrive at your colleague’s house (thirty minutes late), and as he jumps in the backseat he thanks you for the ride and asks what you are bringing to the party in Russian. Completely bewildered, you ask him what he is talking about. He very quickly explains the Russians rules of revelry as you drive along the road. You suddenly remember the bottle of wine you bought at a Russian open market last week that luckily, happens to be in the backseat. Relieved, you tell your Russian friend about the bottle, and ask him to grab it for you. Shocked, he yells at you in Russian that you cannot take that to your boss’s house! The person at the Russian market said it was good…he doesn’t have to drink it if he doesn’t like it! Learning Russian with RussianPod101.com is the most fun and effective way to learn Russian! Your friends at the Russian university you attend have been raving about the Russian markets they shop at every weekend. You love shopping in Russia more than almost anything, and you have been dying to see the Russian markets! So when your Russian friends invited you to go along, you excitedly accepted their offer! However, things quickly went downhill when you told the Russian sales clerk you would like to try on a pair of jeans in Russian. You never meant to share that much of yourself with the people of Russia today! And you certainly did not intend to study anatomy today! Learning Russian with RussianPod101.com is the most fun and effective way to learn Russian!
