2. I Am Woman!

March 8th is International Women’s Day and is an official public holiday in Russia. It is a major day of global celebration for the economic, political and social achievements of women as well as a day to examine current issues facing women around the globe. This is the day when men pay all their attention to their beloved, their mothers, sisters, and daughters. Women get flowers, boxes of chocolates, gifts, and a lot of kind and tender words from men around them. Usually, men do all the housework for their beloved women on this day. They cook, clean, bring breakfast and use every opportunity to say something nice. Forgetting to give a present or at least flowers on that day spells doom for a relationship.
