Learn Russian with RussianPod101.com! As Chloe steps off of the plane she is instantly greeted by the most helpful Russian taxi drivers! Well, at least she assumes they are Russian taxi drivers as they scurry around her gesturing to help her carry her bags and yelling things to her in Russian…all she can make out is the word taxi! Chloe has big plans for her stay in Russia. She is meeting a few Russian friends who will help her get started at the University she is attending in Moscow. But first…she has a lot of shopping to do. She thanks an eager taxi driver in Russian, and allows him to help her to his Russian taxi waiting outside as they begin the long drive to her friend’s home. As they arrive, he tells her his fee…and suddenly it dawns on her that she had never thought to ask. She doesn’t even have that much money! Panicked, she walks to her friend’s door and learns a few more valuable words in Russian…”I need more money.” Well, so much for that shopping trip.
