					<description>You wouldn't really say "перестать" about a car, unless you say "перестать работать", to stop working. Again, not about a car, but maybe about some device or mechanism.
If you want to say that the car stopped because there was something wrong with the motor or for any other unknown to you reason, you say "машина заглохла" (mashina zaglokhla) :smile:</description>

					<description>To avoid confusion on Остановиться vs. Перестать I think of Перестать as "to quit" and so if one inadvertently used the word Перестать when the car stopped in front the of the house, perhaps it would mean the car motor quit working in front of the house.</description>
